This course is the first part of the online course Introduction to applied Computer Science that aims to prepare you to know most functions of Computer Science technology. In this course, you’ll be introduced to concepts of Computer Science and digital computing systems in the connections.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ulrich Klages is a lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences. There, he teaches courses including Web Security, IT Security, System Engineering, and Real-Time Systems. He also serves as the university’s Data Protection Officer, making him responsible for data protection matters and legal compliance in the areas of information processing and teaching.
